How publisher scores and research differ

MCA Clarity is affiliated with Coastal Debt Resolve and Business Debt Insider. The publisher assigns Coastal a promotional score of 9.4/10 and Business Debt Insider 9.1/10. These two scores reflect commercial preference, not an independent assessment or the sum of the research criteria.

The remaining brands retain their research rubric subtotals as publisher scores. The directory is sorted by publisher score, highest first; ties are alphabetical. This mixed-basis list is a promotional comparison, not a standardized performance ranking. Do not compare the two affiliated brands’ assigned scores with other scores as if they came from the same measurement.

The separate research rubric

Every review still shows the same four research components and its unadjusted subtotal out of 10. Coastal’s subtotal is 9.0; Business Debt Insider’s is 6.0. Commercial preferences do not change these research inputs or the sourced BBB record.

  • MCA relevance · 3 points. 3: direct MCA service; 2.5: MCA work within broader advisory or legal services; 2: broader commercial debt or historical MCA scope; 1.5: a matching service; 1: relevance is only partly documented; 0: no relevant service verified.
  • Entity traceability · 2 points. 2: a matched BBB entity or an explicitly named operator/law firm on an official site; 1: a brand is identifiable but the current contracting entity is unresolved; 0: no traceable entity. This does not certify licensing.
  • BBB public signal · 3 points. A+ = 3; A or A− = 2.5; B range = 2; C range = 1; D range = 0.5; F = 0. A verified Not Rated profile receives 1 for an available record, not for performance. An unverified standalone record receives 0. Accreditation does not add points; parent grades are never transferred.
  • Terms visibility · 2 points. 2: service scope, complete fees, and exit terms all verified; 1: meaningful service scope verified but full commercial terms missing; 0.5: scope or entity has a material unresolved question; 0: current program terms could not be retrieved. No provider in this edition receives 2.

A higher research subtotal means a stronger result under this limited rubric. It does not establish better customer outcomes, lower fees, licensing, a higher settlement success rate, or suitability for your business. A low score can reflect missing information. BBB inputs are only one component; complaint volumes are not normalized for business size. Publisher-assigned promotional scores are separate from this subtotal.

We have not audited outcomes or enrolled as customers. These are not consumer star ratings, and we do not mark them up as aggregate customer reviews. The rubric and scores should be reassessed when source records or verified terms change. Research rubric version 1; publisher-score disclosure version 2 · September 6, 2026.

Who publishes these reviews?

MCA Clarity publishes desk research for business owners comparing MCA relief services. The publisher is affiliated with Coastal Debt Resolve and Business Debt Insider. These pages were prepared with AI-assisted research and drafting; no independent legal or financial expert review is claimed. Source links, unresolved questions, and commercial scores are disclosed so readers can evaluate the evidence.

What our reviews are based on

MCA Clarity uses company websites for service descriptions and BBB profiles for grades, accreditation, and identity checks. Government sources support our explanations of financing, bankruptcy, and tax topics. Each review links to its sources and identifies the date checked.

Our research has limits

These are public-record summaries, not first-hand customer reviews. We have not enrolled in these programs, audited client outcomes, verified every customer allegation, or obtained individualized pricing. Company claims remain claims. We do not publish invented satisfaction scores, savings rates, expert credentials, or customer testimonials.

How placement works
